Online Advance Payment

The advance is paid by card through the booking widget on this website. This secures your reservation with the local supplier. The amount of the advance varies by vehicle and is shown clearly before you confirm. Online payment by cash is not possible; a debit or credit card is required to complete the transaction on our platform.

Remaining Balance and Security Deposit

The remaining balance covers the rest of the hire period cost. The security deposit is a separate hold or charge that the supplier places on a card at pickup to cover potential fuel, damage or traffic fines. Both the balance and deposit amounts, along with accepted payment methods, are displayed during the search and booking process and confirmed in your voucher.

Not every vehicle accepts every card type. Some suppliers require a credit card for the deposit; others accept debit cards. The voucher states which payment methods the specific supplier will accept at pickup. If you plan to use a debit card, confirm it is listed as acceptable and check that your account has a sufficient available balance to cover both the remaining hire cost and the deposit hold.

Security Deposit Is Not Related to Insurance or Fees

A security deposit and insurance are independent items. A vehicle offered with no deposit simply means the supplier does not place a hold at pickup; it does not change the insurance cover or excess. Similarly, MoroccoTravelCarRental.com earns commission from bookings, not from deposit amounts. The deposit is held or collected by the supplier and returned according to the terms in your rental agreement.

Checking Your Voucher

After booking you receive a voucher by email. The voucher lists the total cost, what has been paid online, the outstanding balance due at pickup, the deposit amount and the payment methods the supplier accepts. Read the voucher carefully before you travel. If you have a question about accepted cards or payment limits, contact the supplier using the details in the voucher.

Cancellation and Refund Terms

Cancellation and refund conditions are shown on the search results and booking confirmation page. These terms vary by vehicle and supplier. Some offers allow free cancellation up to a specified time before pickup; others may be non-refundable or carry a cancellation charge. Card Details and Security

Additional Charges at Pickup

Optional extras such as child seats and additional drivers, where offered, are paid directly to the supplier at pickup. The voucher or listing will indicate which extras are available and whether they carry a charge. These costs are separate from the advance, balance and deposit described above.
